comming soon.....THIRST
to me that is a new movie by director Park Chan-wook. "THIRST" yes the same Park Chan-wook of "old boy, sympathy for lady vengeance, and sympathy for Mr. Vengeance." i also strongly recommend these three for anyone that loves movies. if you're saying that these are foreign and i don't speak korean. well there is this great thing now called subtitles and are quite nice. So quit being lazy and read, you won't regret it.
the story for thirst goes like this: a priest becomes a vampire...another man's wife is coveted...a deadly seduction triggers murder....Awesome

Moon is on the independent side, i don't like giving away anything so i'll just use the plot description from IMDB
"Astronaut Sam Bell has a quintessentially personal encounter toward the end of his three-year stint on the Moon, where he, working alongside his computer, GERTY, sends back to Earth parcels of a resource that has helped diminish our planet's power problems."
it is actually a really good movie, if this were to have hit the mainstream circuit i would have to take back my comment about american movies. Moon is very original and is worth the price of a ticket.
Well just read that the Director Duncan Jones is the son of a Mr. David Bowie, interesting. i'm no longer sure if this is considered an american movie. none the less a good movie so skip "Orphan" or "G-force" and find one of the theaters playing Moon. and Watch it

Jeremy Clarkson: The Human Beatbox
from Jalopnik
An enterprising young YouTuber named Swede Mason's put together this mashup video proving that yes, Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson is just as, if not more-so, entertaining when he's making noises than when he's reviewing cars.

my fav Japanese pop/rock songs with their odd videos. though i have no idea what they are saying, if you truly appreciate music you dont have to understand it.
first up is HALCALI, i almost wouldn't call their music pop. the way they flow its almost like rap. and they are known to have some odd videos. check them out.
Next is Maximum the Hormone, if you watch anime you are familiar. this song is koi no mega lover and dont let the intro fool you. if you like this search for "Whats up people" they have a lot of good songs
Boom Boom Satellites with Kick it Out! nothing really weird with them just good stuff
and for fun a little Dragon Ash
if you haven't yet, you should definitely open up to some world music. like i said these are just some of my favs. Go find your own

just finished watching Paprika( a japanese anime movie)
this opening scene should trip you out enough.
it has a really great story, better than anything we (america) can come up with. our animations tend to lean on the kiddie side. the darkest "american" animation i've seen is the Animatrix and i think even that had some japanese submissions.
i won't give away any of the story to paprika cause its a must watch. you can find it on Netflix, i did.
i used to spend a lot of money on foriegn films, buying dvd's from Frys, Best buy, and from ebay. now its just like 15 bucks a month and i have a long queue of movies waiting to be shipped out. it really does simplify things.
got off on a netflix and crappy american movie tangent there, oops.
what i was gunning for was the thought i had after watching the movie. is that fact that i never remember any of my dreams. better i should say i never remember the whole thing. i can remember a fall cause that normally wakes me up, and i can get flashes of sexy time dreams. but never enough to think its worth writing down. i've never had a reoccurring dream. is it cause i am rarely complex'd? my life too easy or something?
who knows?
who killed bojangles?
was it youuuuuuuuuuuu?

this ad always seems to be on my page, do these things work off of keywords or something. I dont think i feel sad or isolated (or what i post about for that matter)

The "MOON" Landing
NASA released photos from their LRO (Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter) that has given us this shot of the Moons surface to prove we left our crap there. So some white dots, black dots, and some dragging marks prove it. Seems like they could have picked any part of the Moon and come up with something similar. see the whole thing here.
and National Geographic has posted 8 Moon photos of myths that have been "busted." which you can peep for yourself.
here is my fav.so we say
You can tell Apollo was faked because ... Aldrin is seen in the shadow of the lander, yet he is clearly visible. Hoax subscribers say that many shadows look strange in Apollo pictures. Some shadows don't appear to be parallel with each other, and some objects in shadow appear well lit, hinting that light was coming from multiple sources—suspiciously like studio cameras.
so they say
The fact of the matter is ... there were multiple light sources, Launius said. "You've got the sun, the Earth's reflected light, light reflecting off the lunar module, the spacesuits, and also the lunar surface."
if they had photoshop back then...we would have had men on mars, the sun, and riding a tornado repairing the ozone. i do like this though

does it look like the space man on the package for mrs. bairds bread is holding his fingers like a gun to his head.
cause a salute would be with his hand in front of his visor:like so
i guess the Mrs. Bairds space man would like to kill himself for the lie that was the moon landing.

FREE* Rolling Stone Magazine sub. with tote
after you purchase a tote for $12 (found at our local Wal-Mart)
also have others: Jimi Hendrix, RUN DMC, Kid Rock, etc....
it comes with a subcription card that says "you paid for it. tell us where to send it"
the only thing i'm wondering is what is stopping people from just ripping the free subscription cards off the totes.

was browsing thru my wired magazine(jul/09 -issue17.07 if you want to find it)
its on an ad for Grey Goose about 8 pages in.
its a party scene and in the top right window you can see its open. the bottom half you can see what looks like a skirt an arm of a woman. and on the top half in one of the panes in an eerie image of what looks like a woman's head. It does not match the bottom half..0000000
